THE GOLDEN Bachelor star Theresa Nist's husband died in an eerily similar way to Gerry Turner's wife, The U.S. Sun has learned.
Gerry, 72, and Theresa, 70, have a special bond that is seen on The Golden Bachelor, especially after they spent time together away from cameras during their Fantasy Suite overnight date.
Now, according to a police report obtained by The U.S. Sun, the duo's past has more similarities than what has been revealed on the show.
The U.S. Sun previously reported details surrounding Gerry's late wife Toni Turner's death.
The retired restaurateur's high school sweetheart passed away on July 15, 2017 at 65 years old.
She was being taken care of at a hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, before she was pronounced dead at 7:30pm local time.

The immediate cause of death, per the certificate, was "cardiopulmonary failure," also known as cardiac arrest.
The additional causes were "shock, sepsis and renal failure," also known as kidney failure.
TRAGIC PAST
Meanwhile, Theresa was married to her late husband, William "Bill" Nist - also her high school sweetheart - for 42 years before he tragically passed away.
According to the police report, he passed away on November 11, 2014, at 63 years old.

The Shrewsbury Police Department responded to a 911 call made by Theresa at 6:44pm.
William, a retired stock trader, was being taken care of by a hospice nurse, who was at the Nist family home at the time.
The resident nurse had pronounced him dead minutes before Theresa called the police.
There were "no signs of foul play" reported.
William had suffered from a health condition prior to his death, though detailed were not revealed.
During an earlier episode of The Golden Bachelor, Theresa shared her story with Gerry about her late husband's death.
"What happened ultimately was his kidneys were not good," she said.
"One day when I was at work, he all of a sudden took a turn for the worse, and I ran home, and I watched him take his last breath."
HONORING BILLY
On the ninth anniversary of his death, Theresa shared multiple throwback photos with her late husband.
She wrote: "Billy and I met when I was 14 and he was 16. We got married at 18 and 20.
"He was stationed in Berlin during the Vietnam War.
"I took my first plane ride and we lived there for almost a year. Living in Berlin, I realize now and at the time, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience."
She added: "Remembering my late husband and remembering all the veterans who served our country so that we could be free, not to do whatever we please, but to do the right thing."
William and Theresa had two children together: Thomas "Tommy" Nist, 46, and Jennifer Woolston, 38.
Jen, along with her husband Matt and their three sons, met Gerry during hometown dates.
On July 20, what would have been William's birthday, Jen posted throwback photos of him with the family and captioned them:
"Thinking of my dad on his birthday... miss him big time. looked through some pictures and boy was he happy with his grandsons."
UNBREAKABLE BOND
Theresa confessed to Gerry during a date that they both believed "we were going to live with our spouses for the rest of our lives."
The Indiana native also admitted that they shared the same grief: "Theresa’s story is so similar to mine. All of a sudden, my emotion about my loss, I didn’t feel like breaking down and crying for once.
"I felt like we’re back to hopefulness about the future.”
During the November 16 episode, Theresa and Gerry spent the night together in a Fantasy Suite after the show's lead spent alone time with other finalist Leslie Fhima.
By the end of the episode, Gerry said that he was left with an "impossible" choice of who he was going to ultimately propose to.
He revealed: "Right now, I'm dying inside. I'm in love with both of them, and in each case I've told them 'I love you.'
"With each of them I can see a life together. Life with Leslie would be a very exciting life. She's adventurous. She looks out for me and I look out for her."
